September 2025 Monthly Summary

Hey there, fellow gamers!

Welcome to the September 2025 recap from GamerGear. After a whirlwind of travel and the GamesCom frenzy last month, September was a nice breather – a chance to catch our breath, dive into some new gear, and keep an eye on the upcoming releases that are shaping the next wave of gaming tech.

Corsair’s latest drops
Corsair dropped two fresh iterations of the Vanguard 96 line this month. The standard version comes with their own MLX mechanical switches, while the Pro variant swaps in the newer HE/Magnetic “MGX” switches. It’s still a bit of a mystery whether the MGX form‑factor will play nicely with third‑party switches on the market, so stay tuned.

They also unveiled the Saber v2 Pro mouse – slick, responsive, and ready to upgrade your click game.

Logitech keeps pushing the envelope
Logitech rolled out a fresh lineup of peripherals, including the new G Pro Superlight 2c – a compact, lighter‑than‑air version of their beloved Superlight. They’re also teasing a Pro X2 SuperStrike mouse slated for Q1 2026, plus the Astro A20 X headset, a recent addition from one of the brands they’ve absorbed in recent years.

On the racing side, Logitech launched the G McLaren Racing Collection, cementing their move into the sim‑racing arena.

Pulsar & Vaxee partnership
On September 17th, Pulsar and Vaxee announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The two companies are teaming up to co‑develop and supply products for Pulsar’s upcoming eS series – a collaboration that’s bound to bring fresh, cutting‑edge gear to the market.

Japanese Games Show – a quick look back
The Japanese Games Show took place in Tokyo late in September. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it this year, but the event was a hit – plenty of new announcements and a vibrant showcase of Japan’s gaming culture. Hopefully next year our calendars will align, and I’ll be there in person.

That’s the low‑down for September. Stay tuned for more updates, reviews, and insider news as we keep the gaming community buzzing!
